Are You a Phen-Fen Victim?

The manufacturer of a once-popular weight-loss drug faces lawsuits from people around the country. And several people from the Wabash Valley are among those filing suit. Phen-Fen was very popular in the late 1990`s, but eventually the pills were linked to heart valve problems. People who attended a weight loss clinic in Robinson, Ill. took the drugs.

One woman who asked us not to identify her says she and several others went to the clinic, took the drugs, and now suffer from heart valve problems. "They've seen everything form mild problem to severe. Mine is mild luckily. But there are some people on oxygen with severe problems with their hearts."

The weight loss clinic in Robinson is now closed. If you took Phen-Fen and now have problems, you must file a lawsuit before May 3rd to be eligible to collect damages.
